“ The first two year of my architectural degree was a very odd beginning. I only had one full semester before the world went into lockdown, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. From full lockdown and online classes in stage 1, stage 2 was a bit better. Unfortunately I spend most of my time at my then accommodation, due to all lecture and most seminars being online due to the restrictions. It was very hard to find motivation, but thankfully I pulled through I found inspiration from my many of hours spent outside to clear my head. This was the start of a style that would later define most of my projects for the rest of the degree. To use light and shadows, and find inspiration in the natural and organic world.”
